Native American Flute Western Cedar

Thank you for looking at a Flocking Bird flutes. I have been making flutes for many years, as did my ancestors. Each flute I make is custom made by hand and each one is unique. These are Native American 5 hole Flutes, each come with a handmade bag and stand. I can also do 6 hole upon request. This flute is made in the Native American style and is not a concert flute. They are made from Western Cedar, and the fetish can be made of cherry or walnut. Real deerskin wrapping and decorated with wooden beads. They come in various keys depending on your desire - A, B, G, Low D, and F. If something you want isn't listed, please feel free to email me. I tune my flutes to 432 not European 440 tune. This is standard for the native American flute. For beginners or someone with smaller hands I usually recommend an A or G- the finger hole spacing is closer together making them easier to play. The Low D is the longer flute and may be harder to play if you have smaller hands. If you want the the inlay wood by the mouthpiece the cost is an additional $10. Please use the add inlay option. You can also pick the bird finish either walnut or cherry If I do not receive a response on the bird then I will add the one I feel best compliments your flute.
